DO YOU HAVE A SWEET TOOTH?

I visited the Back in the Day Bakery in Savannah and it immediately brought back my childhood memories the first moment I walked in the door.  Even when I was a teenager, I made money baking items for neighbors and friends.  The decor inside the bakery was vintage, airy and nostalgic. The windows allowed plenty of light, and the chandeliers added a vintage vibe.  The exposed brick walls seemed authentically aged for a warm, nostalgic feel.
See the Easy Bake Oven - top shelf on the left hand side?  I just loved mine, did you have one?   I also love the enamel items, vintage mixer and cupcake stands.....
Their baked items (cupcakes, cookies, cakes, etc) were out of this world.  I took home with me some pumpkin crunch bars and homemade banana pudding........

Homemade breads....I just love the wall decor on the walls, the BREAD sign (left) is cute also.
I just adore the wall hanging on the left wall, "Keep Calm, Have a Cupcake"

Do you have a favorite bakery that you want to share?
Here is their address:   backinthedaybakery.com

  2. They still make them, my daughter has one...they have modernized them a little, but still so much fun. I have a bad sweet tooth, cupcakes are one of my favorites! Eating one would help to keep me calm...until I had another cupcake craving!
