GOING OUT OF BUSINESS FIND

I am so excited on finding my bistro chairs at last!  Last week I was driving around the area of Lady's Island, South Carolina and saw some bistro chairs outside of an antique shop.  I did not stop since the store was located in the other direction that I was headed towards.  So the next day, I went to visit the store, and gazed at these chairs.....I was so excited to see them and went right away to the sales clerk and asked the price of them.

Yes - I got a great deal on these since I have been researching for these quite awhile now and am aware of the current pricing.  The price tag was faded away so the sales clerk came over to see price and responded $70.00 for both.  Yes I will take them, I said excitedly.

Here are some photos that I have of them to share with you.

Stenciled with "Cafe Las Ramblas"

I adore the turquoise color of chair

I used upholstery tacks to place initial on pumpkin

I also bought a farm table from the 1800's but do not have a photo of it yet since the store is holding it for me until  I move
into my home.  Will share photo of my table once I get settled.

I am still house hunting and can't wait to decorate with these two chairs...........

  2. Cute idea to use upholstery tacks to monogram your pumpkin! My kids seem to have no interest in carving pumpkins this year, so I may do this instead.

  7. Totally cool chairs! Just stopped by real quick from The Country Diary. I think it is time for a trip to Charleston again, and Savannah! I'll keep in mind all of the shops in your posts as I am always looking for things to do (drives hubby nuts, but he is a good sport!).

  10. Love the chairs in that nice bright colour. I am just sticking my Tahiti photos in an album. I would love to have seen the dolphins at Moorea but we ended up spending all of our time in Bora Bora - Tahiti was so beautiful - I just loved it!
