~ Pretty Posies in the Home/Bistro Chair

I just love having flowers in my home, how about you?  This spring, I want to grow a cutting flower garden.  This way, I won't have to buy them at the florist, I can just go to my back year and cut them right away.

The bistro chair was a great bargain at $35.00 from Lady's Island, SC. I just love the turquoise color.

So here is my bouquet that I purchased at a local store and placed them in a enamel pitcher.   I love the color and the different varieties.  One of my favorite is the green stem flower called Bells of Ireland.

What is your favorite bouquet?  I also love hydrangeas, lilly of the valley, sunflowers and peonies.

Close up, I love the Bells of Ireland (green stems)

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Beautiful! Love the flowers in the pitcher. The chair, in that color?! ADORABLE. Love the mat they sit on too ;)

  2. Oh what a pretty bouquet of flowers!

  3. Love the fresh flowers in that pitcher. The chair is pretty too!
I have to say that peonies, roses, tulips are my favourite fresh flowers!
    Have a great week!
    All the Best,

  5. So pretty! I picked up flowers today as well. I needed a bit of a pick me up. I adore the chair! The color is fabulous. Enjoy your day! Bonnie

  6. That was a beautiful spot in the day! Love your chair and your flowers!

  7. Love your chair! Have a great day! XO Cindy

  8. This makes a pretty vignette! I love the flowers and the bistro chair.

  9. Oh I am so in love with that bistro chair and I am on the lookout for one or even two. I know Kmart sells the new ones and I like those, and maybe I can somehow age it a bit. I just might order me some! Every time I see yours I just drool.

I love your pretty flowers, the colors are wonderful. I love any kind of bouquets. I recently bought two bunches of pretty pink roses at Trader Joes for only five dollars a piece and actually they gave me one for free cause two of the roses were broke off.

I am going to have a huge flower garden too this year. I'm kind of sick of growing veggies in my garden beds (I have three because of the hard clay soil otherwise) but I'm thinking of making them all into flower beds for a change!

Thank you for your comment. Yes it's a lot of work! I don't know why I ever agreed to buy a home with the ceilings like that!

Bet you can't wait to get into you home!

    Have a lovely evening!

  10. Love the flowers, the container and the chair!! Perfection. blessings ~ tanna

  11. I came by after you left a lovely comment on our blog. I have to say I am fascinated by your idea of a cutting garden. I don't have much of a green thumb, but I've always wished I had a garden to supply me fresh flowers.

Please post about it when you start your garden. I'd love to see what you come up with.

    We are following your blog.

  12. ahh those flowers are just beautiful. What a great sight to see.
