Another Sneak Peek

I am getting so excited on my move and I think I might have decorate-itis!  (is there such a word?)  Ha!

Recently I visited one of my favorite decor shops, Jolie Home and Events, and found this beautiful bench.   I could not resist not having it so I made the purchase.

Here is a quick peek of it at the store......Can't wait to use it in my home!  Now - my next step is to purchase some cool pillows.....

Well I have to run now and finish cleaning since we have a couple that has a appointment to see our rental.

Hope you have a great day!

  10. Fabulous bench ...will be so pretty with pillows! Can't wait to see where you use it in your new home!

As to your questions about my front door panels, yes I made them. They were SUPER easy! I made the template by measuring the window and then drawing out on newspaper for a pattern. I sewed two pieces of fabric together, just like a pillow, turned them inside out, pressed, and hot glued on the trim. Added velcro strips to the top of the door where I wanted them, and the top of the panel, on the under side so that I could press them in place and then flip over so they wouldn't be so flat to the door. Make sense? If not, let me know. I'm not good at explaining things! :) Before I sewed the fabric, I carried the panels to a monogramming shop and had them monogram "G's" onto the fabric. I don't think they show up well in the pictures. They have held up for about 4 years now, no problems!

Best of luck on your moving this week! Keep us posted if you can!
