Porch Transformation

Well here is my final photos to share with you.  I didn't think I was going to have this completed by my deadline, however, I just made it.  I am having company soon so I wanted to have the porch completed.

Here are some before photos - floors were a brown color and shutters were a shade of green and brown.  I really love the new blue color that i chose for the shutters and floor.  I also used oil  porch paint for shutters and flooring so it had to dry completely between coats.

  22. What an impact the fresh paint makes, great job. I'm looking for ideas for the front of my front house at the moment and really want to paint my front door a bright colour and add some nice decor, a bench or chair. It is the first impression when you walk into the house and you have made a fantastic impression!

  23. It looks great! I have done my front door and part of the porch, but I have a whole lot more to go! My porch is a wrap-around. What was I thinking when we built that?!? :-)

I also have a hard time anything looking "clean" on the porch with the dust from the gravel road. Yours looks great! :)
