More Flower Planting

Today is a cloudy day here in SC, so I thought it would be a great idea to get some more planting done....I still have more to do but wanted to show you some Confederate Jasmine that I just bought at the local farmers market.  Eventually I want to plant it all around my picket fence.  I love the look of it and the fragrance is divine!

This is hopefully what my fence will look like once it has grown full size.  (see below)

Loving this look!

Here are some more plants that I bought.  They are called Lime Zinger Elephant Ears.

These are planted in front of my garage. I think I will go back to nursery and by some more plants to fill this area.  Perhaps some more types of elephant ears.  I just love these!  Will share more photos once plants fill in.

This is a shutter that I bought back in Pennsylvania and added a potted flower

Well better finish up in garden, a tropical storm is heading this way!

Thanks for visiting!

  9. That's right! I've been watching the news and you're right in that stormy area. We got a little rain from it, but that's about it. Love that jasmine vine you planted. It will look amazing once it takes off!

  10. Love all your garden plants! The jasmine is going to be gorgeous when it fills in the fence! And I am crazy about your shutter and the cute planter...so cute! You have such a great eye for details that make your home so charming! :)

Hope you fared well during Beryl. We had lots of rain and wind. Flooding here and there, but no major damage! Thank God!

  12. Your gardening is sure to pay off. It is all so pretty. I am in SC too. In the upstate, in a suburb of Greenville. I love the coast and we visit it often. My daughter graduated from College of Charleston last May. Hope you are enjoying being a Carolina Girl. :)

  16. Isn't it fun to add new plants to your garden? Confederate jasmine is a wonderful plant. We have it growing on a trellis on the shed, but when I planted it I didn't realize it was such a vigorous grower. Your fence should be covered in no time. Elephant ears are so neat. Hope you didn't have any damage from the storm.
