Husk - Charleston, SC

There is a fairly new restaurant in Charleston, SC  called Husk that there are many good reviews on.  While researching on Trip Advisor.com, we decided to make reservations for brunch.  The chef, Sean Brock was awarded the James Beard Award and their dishes are made with ingredients from local suppliers only from the South including organic vegetables, fruits and organic meat farms.

I was very impressed with Husk and would definitely return.  Our brunch started off with a Peach Bellini.
Did you ever have a peach bellini?  It is made with peach nectar and champagne and is delicious!

For my main entree, I ordered a Monte Cristo and my husband had Shrimp and Grits.  (Forgot to take photos of our entrees, they were delicious!)

Here are just some random shots near the front of the restaurant looking out on Queen Street.

I just loved this bird bath filled with hibiscus, asparagus ferns, etc.

While shopping at PB on King Street, I couldn' resist on taking this picture of this donkey-drawn carriage.
So if you are ever in the Charleston area, I would definitely try Husk located on Queen Street in Charleston, SC.

Thanks for visiting!
