Palmiers .....And Take A Guess

Have you ever had Palmier's? Well I was addicted to them when I visited Paris. They were available in every patisserie!.....They are made from puff pastry and sugar and cinnamon, quite yummy!  In some bakeries, they are called elephant ears.

The recipe can be found here.

I just loved the taste of these, light and crispy texture filled with cinnamon/sugar!!!  Here are some of my photos when I was making these yummy treats......

Can you guess what the above image is used for?  If you have ever been to Paris, you might know the answer.  Will share more info on this in another post.

Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Gosh.... I don't remember what the pan was used for but I do remember eating the Palmiers. And I remember they had a soft, sweet and chewy filling. Delicious! Great posting about a treat that derives from several countries! Do you remember boule de Berlin's? Their version of a jelly filled donut with a sugar topping not an icing. Ok... now you've got me missing all those tasty treats!! LOL
