Asheville Bed and Breakfast Getaway

Hi There,

I am back from my Asheville getaway....a perfect place to visit and enjoy the outdoors!! We stayed at The Beaufort House Inn to celebrate our anniversary. It is located 2 miles from the Biltmore and in walking distance to downtown Asheville. Each morning, the innkeepers prepared a wonderful 2 course gourmet breakfast. The first morning, we had lemon cup with fresh strawberries served hot with whipped cream and strawberries. It reminded me of a lemon souffle and was so delicious!  The second course served was homemade apple crepes served with warm Maple syrup.

The Victorian home was built in 1894 and was once the home of actor Charlton Heston. There are 11 rooms within the home, however towards the back of the property, a carriage home housed four separate cottages where we stayed. At nights, the inn served their guests coffee, tea, wine which were enjoyed on their wrap-around porch complete with rocking chairs and swings. Here are some photos that I wanted to share of the Beaufort House.

The cottage where I stayed

Four poster bed, wide plank floors throughout cottage

Gas fireplace, I loved the art over the mantel

Love the red knobs on the commercial stainless steel stove and adore those red cabinets too!

John Boos Table, Oh how I miss my John Boos table

Truffles, champagne and roses, what else can a girl ask for?

I will share more photos of Asheville in a separate post.  Hope you enjoyed and thanks for visiting!
