My First ASCP Project

Hello There,

Well I finally tried it!  Yes - I tried the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.  I wanted to begin with a smaller scale piece of furniture for being my first time using it.

Here it is!  I love how it turned out!

I used two coats of the Old White paint, then distressed a little too!

Clear Soft Wax

Love the legs and lattice work

Overall I really loved using this paint and would highly recommend it!

Do you see the bed?  Well that is my next thing I am going to tackle with ASCP.  Then I am going to paint the room and then share the final reveal!

Gotta get that paint brush moving!!

Thanks for visiting!

  1. I started using ASCP about a year ago and I love it. It is worth the drive to the closest dealer for the paint.

I love the design of your little table.

  2. Good for you and I do love white paint. I have not used it yet but I rarely paint furniture. I cannot get out of the garden this time of year:] Just left the nursery in fact. hugs, olive

  5. Oh I have wanted to use this paint! I am glad you had such good results! It came out so pretty! The bed too? You are brave! As for the succulents, I water them...because of their rubbery leaves they cannot absorb....however, a misting can keep them clean, or is good for succulent seedlings.

  6. Your table turned out so pretty! I, too, love the lattice. The chalk paint goes on so well, doesn't it? Can't wait to see everything when you've completed the room.
