My Love for Tea Towels

This is a different type of post today.  Instead of talking about decorating I am going to show you some of my favorite tea towels.  Did you know that I love tea towels?  Yes - I like to collect them so I will share some of my favorites with you.

Some of my favorites are the Eiffel Tower tea towel that I bought in Paris while on vacation.  I never have used it, it is so pretty I am thinking about having it framed! Have you ever had a tea towel framed?

Tea pots - Harrods of London - another one of my favs.  Shopping at Harrod's was a wonderful experience.  I also bought a teapot that I will share with you sometime.  Love it!

South Carolina - map tea towel -- I bought this in a specialty store and thought it was so cute.

This one I bought because I thought it had a "cottage" feel to it and fell in love with the colors.....

Another one of my favorite is this one with lavender. Also used this one in my post that I featured with lavender shortbread.

Anthropologie also has beautiful ones - here is one that has polka dots, ladybugs and centipedes on it.  My sister Tara bought this one for me.

One of my newest purchases is from Etsy.  Check it out!  I found this while surfing the internet.  Isn't is adorable?  I just had to have me of those caravans!

So do you have a collection of tea towels?

Thanks for your visit!

  1. Love your collection of tea towels! Really fun! Especially the one with the trailer (or caravan) so cute!! Thanks so much for visiting my blog....I'm now a new follower of yours!

  2. Oh yes I do! I love them too and collect them when we go places. We have a couple of spots in the kitchen where I hang special towels which are not to be touched. My family of men knows that. :) I would definitely frame that Eiffel Tower's too pretty to take chances on.

  3. I have a weakness for pretty tea towels as well!
    Yours are beautiful!!
When anyone went abroad I asked them to bring me back
a tea towel. Come to think of it they stopped asking....

  4. Your tea towels are so cute. Love the one with the map of South Carolina and the little caravan one. Cute, cute!

  5. Beautiful collection of tea towels! I have a new weekly link party which is live now and I would love if you stop by and link up this wonderful post! Hope to see you there! Hugs, Maria

  6. Yes, I love tea towels and all linens. The caravan could not be any cuter. I am from S.C. so am partial to that one too. I followed you back. xo, Olive

  7. Your tea towels are very pretty. I love that some of them are very unique. I never thought to frame them, but that's a great idea. I'm kind of partial to that ladybug one. :)

  8. Ohhhh! I love tea towels and display two different ones each week in my kitchen. I make them or buy them in thrift stores or at yard sales. Glad others share my passion. Regena in TN.

  9. Actually I do have a small collection of Tea Towels. Most of them came from England. Either sent by friends or ones I got when I was home. I may do a post and show then. Great idea, thank you
    Will follow you now

  10. Oh l love tea towels - I purchased a many years ago "Martha Stewart Sunday to Saturday" tea towels. They are just for display not for use. I have a few retro ones and I also have 2 Blue Ribbon Coffee towels. I also make aprons with tea towels.
