Using a Breadboard for a Centerpiece

Hello,

How is your week going so far? I have been busy cleaning my house, getting ready to make some fall decorations for table and the list goes on and on.

I purchased a breadboard a few weeks ago. When it arrived in the mail, I was shocked on the size of it!   Breadboards are so versatile in the home. They can be used for appetizers, hung on a wall in a kitchen, or used as an centerpiece on a table.   For creating this centerpiece, I added wheat and sorghum that I bought from a nearby farm and placed it in one of my favorite enamel pitchers. I then placed some white and orange striped mini pumpkins and some cotton on the breadboard.

What can be easier that that? I love the natural feel of the arrangement and the cost was minimal.   I will also be sharing a beautiful breadboard that I bought back from my recent trip to Tuscany!

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

  4. I love the candle chandelier above the table.

Our overhead dining room light is giving us trouble and we have called an electrician. Steve says he wants a different fixture and I am thinking a chandelier would be nice.

  7. It really is a nice size and made a wonderful centerpiece! I have that same candle holder. I had it hanging in my living room. When we added the beadboard ceiling we took it down. I love it and need to find somewhere to use it again. Thanks for sharing this and your beautiful chair with SYC.
    hugs,
