St. Simon's Island, GA

Today I visited St. Simon's Island, GA.  It was a perfect picture day there with temperatures in the low 70s.

We walked along the beach and enjoyed the fresh air and sand between our toes.  There were so many people walking along the beach with their dogs too!

I also visited a antique shop nearby which I usually stop it when I visit St. Simon's.  Here are some photos of the shop.  I was searching for some vintage bread boards but had no luck so just bought some vintage lace crocheted doilies.  So enjoy some eye candy!!!!!

I loved the pops of color in this handmade quilt.......

To end our day, we stopped by one of our favorite BBQ place Southern Soul, see Here.  I ordered my favorite sandwich, burnt end brisket sandwich, OH SO GOOD!  I also took some pulled pork to go so I can have for dinner this week.  So now I have my dinner already prepared, I love it!

What did you do today?  Anything special?

Thanks for your visit......

  5. Oh, that looks like a lovely day! Such a fun place to shop and that BBQ sounds so good! We spent the weekend researching and then buying an elliptical machine. Gotta work off all that See's candy, ya know. ;)

  7. Hi Kelly,

Wow! I never connected Georgia with such beautiful coastlines and sandy beaches! I am impressed and very pleasantly surprised! Your visit to this cozy antique shop adds to the amazing activities, not to mention the last stop for that delicious sounding sandwich! Thanks so much for sharing your day; I really enjoyed the eye candy, to be sure, especially since it's calorie free!!
