Goodbye Beaufort

Well it's only been 2 1/2 years living in Beaufort and is time for me to say goodbye!  It's been a wonderful experience for me living in a sleepy, little coastal town on the coast!

I will also miss the Southern sayings such as:  ya'll, bless your heart and being addressed as Ms. Kelly.

Even though I have a new journey to follow, I will still miss the Low Country.  Hope you will come back to visit and join me on my journey to North Carolina and helping me find the perfect HOME SWEET HOME!

So I will leave you with some of my favorites shots that I have cherished while living in the LOW COUNTRY!

Hunting Island Beach:  (only a fifteen minute drive from where I live)

Beaufort:

There are shops located here along Bay Street and the roof top is where weddings are held.

Years ago this was a pharmacy, however, today it is a restaurants that serves burgers, sandwiches, etc.

Rhett Gallery - where you can find beautiful Low Country art located on Bay Street.

M Interiors along Bay Street including Modern Jewelers.

Waterfront Park

I enjoyed swinging on the swings in this photo and catching some sights of dolphins frolicking in the Beaufort River.....

My Favorite Restaurants:

Saltus Grill

Another one of our favorite restaurants in Beaufort is Saltus Grill.  My neighbor just recently took us there for a farewell dinner.  It was wonderful......

One of my favorite restaurants in Beaufort - Old Bull Tavern located off of Bay Street.  They have awesome brick oven pizzas.

And last but not least a hidden gem that serves the best Italian food in Beaufort - Griffins Market.

Historic Homes:

One of my favorite homes located on The Point in Beaufort.

Another beautiful home with gorgeous boxwood gardens....

Love the hammock on the second level porch....

SO LONG BEAUFORT, HOPE TO VISIT YOU AGAIN SOON!

You can also view my final tour of my home in Beaufort here.

Now onto my move to RALEIGH!
