My Love for Coffee - Jubala Coffee Village

If any of you follow me via Facebook, you know that I love coffee.  Anyway, it has been fun moving from SC to NC and trying different venues out for coffee and breakfast hangouts in the local area.

Yes we have quite a few establishments here but so far we have a favorite that serves some good coffee (Counter Culture Coffee) at Jubala Coffee in Raleigh.  Counter Culture is a wholesale coffee buyer and roaster headquartered in Durham.

At Jubala, their coffee menu includes cappuccino, lattes, pour-on coffee and French press.  My husband and I enjoyed 2 - 16 ounce pour overs.  We experienced the barista making the coffees per order since we had been seated at the counter, one of our favorite spots.

The menu is also wonderful for breakfast or lunch.  So far we have only tried breakfast and it was to die for.  Steel cut oatmeal served with slice bananas, and candied walnuts were awesome.  We also ordered their homemade biscuits served with country ham.  The biscuit had a little sweetness to it and it was a perfect with the salty ham.

Leige waffles are also on the menu which we have tried.  They are waffles made with pearl sugar which caramelizes when cooked and are served with choices on top of:  peaches and brown sugar, Nutella, Big Spoon peanut butter, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Inside topping for the waffles include:  candied walnuts, chocolate chips, blueberries, apple cinnamon and coconut.

They also sell coffee and coffee equipment on site.

We were able to enjoy the outdoor seating to sit and relax and enjoy our coffee!

So next time you are in the Raleigh area, don't forget to stop by Jubala Coffee and try a more personalized coffee experience!!!!
