Hope you had a long relaxing weekend. A lot has been happening here (if you are one of my readers, I have moved into my new home). I am still unpacking boxes and getting situated in my new home, however it is nice that we have until the end of the month to have everything out of our rental. We still need to get house cleaners in and the carpet cleaned.
Today I wanted to share with you one of my recent finds. While visiting my family back in PA in early April, my husband found a beautiful, hand crafted drop leaf table made by a local cabinet maker of Chester County, PA. His work is absolutely beautiful and I am so glad that I have one of his signed pieces now in my home.
You can also get a peek at my new dining room in my new home. I will be back with more once the dining room is all together. I am not sure if I will actually keep this in my dining room it depends how it looks once I have everything arranged in the room. It would also look great as a sofa table behind my PB sofa. So we will see!!
I love how it looks when opened up...
There are two drawers on each end of the table. I love the fancy detailed drawer pulls, too!
Marshall Brinton made beautiful furniture and I am sure lots of people in Chester County, PA has some of his pieces. I am sure I will find some on the home tour of Chester County Day homes in October, too!
Thanks for your visit!
