I love anything with strawberries. How about you? I am sharing a recipe that I have been making ever since I was married. The recipe was from a cookbook that was given to me at my wedding shower.

I have been swooning over pink peonies lately, too! I usually buy them at our local Farmer's Market or Trader Joe's.
I love the look of the mason jar inside my vintage grain scoop, too!
I hope you have a lovely week.

Recipe:
In large bowl, sift together 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 cups sugar and 3 cups flour.
In small bowl, beat 4 eggs, with 1 1/4 canola oil. Stir in 1 (10 ounce) strawberries, thawed. Add egg mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
Pour into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
The strawberry bread sounds amazing. I'm bad about buying way more strawberries than we can eat so I freeze them. This recipe would be perfect for some of the berries in my freezer.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are stunning!
Your strawberry bread sounds quite a lot like mine - one of my favorite things to make.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious! And the peonies are gorgeous, especially displayed with the beautiful glass!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe, it looks yummy. I love everything with strawberries as well, and strawberries on their own, of course :-)
